Artist: Kendria
Kendria is a self-taught metalsmith and lapidarist whose artistry blends skill and passion to create remarkable pieces that inspire confidence and pride in those who wear them. She finds deep tranquility in transforming raw materials into beautiful, wearable art and décor—a practice she has embraced since childhood.
Founded in 2012 in Richmond, VA, Solid Treasures has expanded across Tucson, San Diego, and now Orlando. Kendria's journey began with beaded and wire work, but in 2015, she ventured into metalsmithing, a craft that has since become a lifelong passion. While she specializes in one-of-a-kind, hand-fabricated creations, Kendria also incorporates cast pieces based on her unique designs, making each work a true expression of her creative vision.

Creative Journey
From the arid landscapes of Arizona, evolving under the Californian sun, and now flourishing in the vibrant surroundings of Florida, each treasure adds to the story of my creative journey.

Perfectly Imperfect

In a world of mass production, there's an extraordinary beauty found in the imperfections of handmade jewelry. Each treasure carries the unique signature of the artisan's touch, a charming quirk that sets it apart.
A Thoughtful Process
The metalsmithing process alone is a testament to the dedication invested in every piece. It begins with the careful selection of materials.

The entire process, from concept to completion, demands time, attention, and an unwavering commitment to quality. Each piece is an embodiment of countless hours spent honing skills, refining techniques, and infusing a bit of the artist's spirit into the final creation.

From Rough to Polished

For some pieces, the journey extends to the lapidary arts, where I meticulously cut and shape gemstones, which adds a layer of complexity and uniqueness to my work. These particular gems are called Poseidon Variscite.

All scrap metal gets utilized. Each piece that is born from the remnants of its predecessors stands as a testament to the beauty that can emerge from mindful craftsmanship and the dedication to a minimal-waste philosophy.
